Join Meetup.com

If you would have told me 3 years ago I would be making friends on-line and running a group on line I would have laughed at you in hysterics. Today I am writing to urge you to join up in a group on meetup.com. Life is ironic.

With the Internet so much has been invented on line. I have always had a weirdness with any type of social on line website and chat-rooms. We have all heard the stories haven't we? Someone in your family meets someone on line and ends up flying across country to go meet them? Worse yet this person was married but got addicted to this new person. Another example yet is you go to meet someone from on line and they turn out to be a freak or stalker. Maybe I was being closed minded or just not looking at it right but it wasn't for me. Then one day that all changed when my wife found meetup.com. I will say I was still a little weirded out by it but for some strange reason i gave it a chance. 

If you have never looked up www.meetup.combefore you should do so now. It is an on line group of people with similarr interests that join up on line. The organizer of the group and assistant organizers of the group(if the group has them) organizes the meet ups. Once they are scheduled you then respond with an R.S.V.P. if you want to go or not. It is really that simple.

My wife and I run a meetup group in Springfield Mo called circle of Friends. We have almost 100 members in our group. This is actually our second and third group as we both used to have our own Meet up groups in Seattle WA. We have been on Meetup.com for over 2 years.

Meetup.com is not necessarily a singles dating site in any way, although many love relationships have certainly come about. It is a great site to meet new people, have a social life that is fun and safe and be active when you want.
